Emergency!! Please help me choose a Common App Personal Essay

<p>Alright, the deadline is approaching and I've been going crazy about this entire common application personal essay problem. I have two essays that are EXTREMELY different...</p>

<p>One I wrote about the second choice, an issue I'm so passionate about and a publication that I'm starting in my school that goes along with it (Essay 1)</p>

<p>The other essay goes along with the first choice under significant experience and again talks about something i'm passionate about (but in a less intellectual sense) (Essay 2)</p>

<p>So here's the problem. Essay 1 is is very very intellectual and talks about a lot of ideas...but i'm not sure if it has enough personal information. I really wanted to include this publication because it's a big deal, but i'm not sure the essay is right for the common application</p>

<p>Anyone interested in reading both of these and helping me decide? or just offering advice? Please PM me for my email or post your emails...I am desperate :(</p>

<p>The Common App essay should be personal and revealing. Perhaps your first option is better suited to the Activities essay.</p>

<p>I actually asked a few teachers for advice and they helped me to decide :slight_smile: Thank you very much anyway to everyone that has offered some tips or agreed to read both essays!!</p>
