Hey Everyone…thanks for taking the time to read this post…I applied to NYU Early Decision for Tisch…I have already completed the audition and all my forms are in…I sent for my ACT Scores to be sent on November 10th…I mailgramed it (next day mail) for seventeen dollars…NYU does not process rush orders and will get the scores early december…will this affect my chances for Tisch, since people’s applications will be reviewed before mine? Or does it not affect anything…Are there people in the same position? Should I do something about this? Are decisions about the audition made already, and they’re waiting for your academic achievment to make a decision? If anyone can reply to this, I would really appreciate it. I don’t want this to ruin my thanksgiving (and my life). Have a happy thanksgiving everyone!

Usually (almost always), the ACt test in October and the SAT test in November are recieved in time for early admissions policies, if this is the situation, you should be fine.

If there are other circumstances that would not apply to the many students who send in these last minute scores, my advice would be to call or email the admissions office (perhaps with a nice letter). Only they can say decisively what the decision will be. If you are taking special note in a certain program and seem so dedicated to ensuring admissions, they will be more likely to help you out.

Remember, these people do their stressful jobs becouse they love them. They will want the best for you, and will respond accordingly.
