I submitted my UC app yesterday, but I applied
for the wrong major.

Is it possible to modify my majors after I submitted my
UC app? How exactly do I do that?

Well, for which schools? In the case that you're after UCLA, you can apply to HSSEAS after being admitted at the beginning of your first quarter; they base it on whether or not they would've admitted you with your HS stats.

mme-lin, what you talked about is what i am hoping of doing. can you explain that process in more detail please?

course you can...they'll tell you no and all that... i was persistent and they eventually said send a letter and after hearing nothing, i just received my acceptance into CS whereas i applied for ME....man i hate official stuff...i did it even after their jan 31 change deadline

The one mmelin is describing would have to involve your high school grades being good enough to get into HSSEAS in the first place. If they were originally weak and you applied to the CL&S to get into UCLA at all, then you're probably not going to be able to transfer. Instead, what's more likely to happen is that you apply to transfer a year later, after finishing some GEs/prerequisites.

YES YOU CAN
call their undergrad/ admissions hotline
tell them your problem
they'll give you TWO email addresses and information you need to provide.
but its possible, at least for LA
