emergency SAT question??

okay, so i got 2110 on the SAT in may: CR: 680, W: 690, M: 740, but i also got 800 on math level 2. i signed up for the SAT test tomorrow but now i'm reconsidering the test because my friend told me that carnegie mellon replaces your math sat score with your math subject test score if it's higher. can someone confirm this? thanks

No, Carnegie Mellon looks at both the SAT Math section and the SAT II Math. I think the SAT II is more important, but the SAT I Math is still very significant. In fact, the 25th percentile for the SAT math is ~740 at every college except DC, IS, and CFA.

You should probably take the SAT anyway to improve on CR and Writing.
