★★★emergency★★★

Hi.
First, This is International Student in USA.
And I'm senior.

I have a question about my transcript and other stuff.
Im taking Calculus right now but I trying to drop/withdraw that class.

My first semester grade is High B.
and total grade (from now) is 86.

I planning to drop this class on first semester but i cannot.
I am not accpeted any college but I want to drop because
I already have 3.5 credits of math. (my school can graduate three math credits)

Also I talked to my school counselor but she/he wants to keep taking
my math class.

another reason that I want to drop that class..is
Im really do not like that class..teacher..classmate..and studying stuff..
almost everything...

I applied regular decision for 4 colleges and already send to them my trasncript.

My questions..:

Drop class causes bad effect on my transcript? I already have full math credits.

I already sent my transcript to my regular decision college. but my counselor said
she have to write and send another letters about my droping class to college which is that I applied. Is it bad effect on my admission? and is it true?

Help me so confuse..
I have 60 days of senior year.
I wants to go to school feel like freely and happy
only last 60 days.

HELP ME. PLEASE THANKS.

I encourage you to take a different view on the matter.

Indeed you have only 60 days of high school left. Consider that completing the class is a matter of sticking through a task to a successful end. College is so much harder than high school. You’ll run into numerous situation where perseverance is critical to success. So this is practice on how it’s done.

While your high school may require only 3 math credits for graduation, many colleges require 4 years of math for admission.

Answers:

 1. Dropping math may have an adverse effect on your chances of admission.
 2. Yes, it is true that you or your counselor should notify each college if you drop math.

Fogcity has given you some good advice. I strongly urge you to take it.

That is not an emergency. Use your common sense. Fogcity is right.

Echoing what everyone else has said, stick with it. You have a B, for heaven’s sakes.
