My son just received his acceptance. I am also curious to know how many applied.

Hey guys! Did all of you applying for the ELP receive response? I am a very eager applicant for it. Not a single acception or rejection letter came to me.
By the way, do the program office give off responses to every applicant regardless? Through both email and mail? Or just mail?
Anxiously waiting replies online…

I received an invitation letter of ELP but when it arrived the deadline had passed.
However I can provide some info here: students will be notified of their decision before Jul,23th. Or at least the pamphlet BC sent says so.

Pine - You should contact the ELP office to inquire about your application. I believe they went through an initial round of acceptances just before the end of June and another within the last week, filling any spots not taken by the initial accepted applicants. Best of luck!

I sent an email to spo@bc.edu on 30th,June, the day I received the letter yet the deadline of 23th had passed. And then I called twice the number of the office and no one answered, so I just decided to wait for a few days for their reply. But until now I haven’t received response from spo, either by email or phone call.
Same thing happened when I sent emails to some other departments of BC. I doubt except placement/studentservice/oiss such major department others wouldn’t check their mailbox at all.
I was waiting for a reply the first week after the day I sent my email and was not in the mood to complete the application before I received a response(it’s already after deadline). And after a week, to be honest, I felt annoyed and decided not to apply.
I believe I should try programs and events of more responsible people in charge. For example the Provost Reception of internationals. The host replied my 3 emails, every time less than 24 hrs after I sent email, answering all my questions and extending a warm welcome. Already decided to go.

Hey Pine - sounds like you’ve found some good options. My D had a different experience with ELP. They were very responsive and receptive. Everything happens for a reason. I’m sure you’ll enjoy whatever you end up doing!
