First off, I have read up on Emerson, but I have no idea where it "ranks" as far as expense and difficulty of entry. I just know I want to go there.
My high school grades have been horrible thus far (I am a junior). I want so badly to get into Emerson and I want to know how much I'll have to do to make up for my low gpa. I do have an "excuse" for my grades (ongoing family situation), but I don't know how much that can fix. I have 5 pre-AP/AP classes on my transcript, I have a job, and I am currently involved in an independent production outside of school. What can I do to make up for my gpa?
Also, I don't know where to begin as far as applications and financial aid goes. I am completely confused by early application (like why they want my proof of graduation when I'm applying in the summer before senior year). If someone could give me just the basic outline of what I need to do and when I would so appreciate it (my counselor is NO help).
