Last year I applied to Emerson for BA theater studies with political communications as a back up major, but I was flat out rejected. I'm planning on taking a gap year and reapplying because I love the school so much.

stats:

GPA: 2.9(fr/soph), 3.4 (jr/sr)
SATs: v: 590, m: 630, cr: 790, total: 2010
ECs: choir (fr, soph, sr)
drama (fr, soph, jr, sr)
dance (jr, sr)
SALSA-students advocating life without substance abuse (sr)
make-a-wish club (sr)
summer internship working with kids in theater (soph, jr, sr)
internship at a senator's office (sr)

I have two separate GPAs because I transfered from a parochial school to a private school after sophomore year because of harassment. That's also why some of my ECs are a bit chopped off (the schools didn't offer the same opportunities). During my gap year I'm also planning on taking some college courses as well as preparing for auditions again.

I would just like to know anyone's opinion on my chances after applying again.
