Emerson College Decision Notification Date (April 1st or March 15th??????)

I’ve been anxiously waiting to hear back from Emerson since I applied. The site says that they’ll release decisions at “the beginning of April” but they general shoot for March 15th decision. Does anyone know for certain when it will be given out???

April 1st?? wow I hope it’s not then. Why would they release them so late?? I know last year they released them around the 15th of March…

@gracie224 I know they aim for two weeks before the date but I figured if they were going to release them today they would’ve done so by now

it looks like last year (based on the RD 2020 thread) they came out after 2:00

So does Emerson send out notifications electronically and not via snail mail?

Under the questions on the application status page it says

‘When an Admission decision has been made, you will receive an email to the email address on file to check your Admission Portal. After logging in, you will see a link to View Update >> under Status Update.’

@starlr They do both

Still haven’t gotten any email or anything yet. Has anyone else heard back?

Nothing yet :frowning:

ACCEPTED!

Congratulations @0806niry !!! - may I ask what to what program of study?

Any merit money would be with decision letter, right?

Thanks, @LuvsLabs I applied as “Undecided”
Didn’t get any merit. I am an international applicant from Europe.

Accepted!

waitlisted :frowning:

My niece got her Acceptance today for the Writing/Literature/Publishing program. No financial aid letter yet, just acceptance email. Stats top 3% of high school, 3.9GPA, 30 or 31 ACT.

Got into Film Production
3.3 GPA
33 ACT
California resident

got waitlisted :frowning:

I got accepted yesterday for Communication Studies but I didn’t get into the honors program which isn’t that surprising but, they are giving me a merit scholarship of $20,000 (Elma Lewis scholarship). Emerson has been my #1 for a long time but I don’t know if I’ll be attending yet :frowning: just because its too expensive for me as to right now and over 2,000 miles away from California.
