Emerson College or Pace University? Please Help.

Graduating senior here. I am having the hardest time deciding between these two amazing schools. I was recently accepted into the Writing, Literature, and Publishing program at Emerson, and the combined degree program at Pace for Creative Writing and Publishing. Both of these schools have me at a loss. I have no clue which one I love more. I would be perfectly happy in both New York and Boston and I think both programs would offer me great career opportunities and a welcoming college experience. I visited both and was honestly not impressed with Pace. After visiting Emerson, however, I was sure of my decision. The college was a perfect fit and I rarely thought of Pace. Then, my acceptance letter from Pace arrived, as did the financial packet. I decided to revisit the school and spend the night at an admitted students day. It was there that I realized the true potential of Pace University. My dorm mate had nothing but amazing things to say about the school and I felt excited as we walked the Brooklyn Bridge lit up in the night, about potentially coming to Pace. I apologize, it’s late and i’m desperate. If any of you have had positive (or negative) experiences please share! I am no closer to deciding and anything could help.

I was having a similar issue of trying to decide between Pace and another school. I felt the same about Pace, unimpressed and not feeling excited about going. Today is actually the day I finally made my choice, and I chose Pace. I think if you can afford Emerson and love Boston, go to Emerson. Pace’s financial package does make it more appealing but if you think you won’t like it then don’t commit. I ended up choosing Pace because I love NYC and the networking/ connections that Pace has is priceless for what I want to do (Business). Personally, it seems like you love Emerson more, and if that’s true then COMMIT! Good Luck

@Sablight …over Boulder, which is a FAR better university, purely because of location???
