SAME SO EXCITED

Accepted for Comedic Arts and awarded the Luminary Scholarship ($18,000)!! Kinda bummed about not getting into the Honors Program though…anyone know the average stats for an Honors Program admit?

Accepted to Media Arts Production with the Elma Lewis Scholarshio and the Spotlight Scholarship!! Yayyy!!

Yeah me too about the Honors Program, I was wondering the same thing

Accepted for Writing, Literature & Publishing and Honors Program!!

Didn’t get into Honors but I have a 34 ACT, 3.7 GPA (upward trend though–3.8 GPA junior year), pretty good EC’s, and what I thought was a great honors essay. Thought I was a shoo-in for Honors, guess not. Feels bad.

Got in writing literature and publishing and honors college! Trustees scholarship and spotlight scholarship (30k total). My stats were a 4.48 weighted gpa, 1460 sat, and co editor of my schools lit magazine. So excited!!!

Accepted for political communication!!!

I have a 30 ACT and a 3.7 GPA. I did not apply to the honors college, but I did get an $18,000 a year scholarship.

However, I will be attending NYU. Emerson is a great school tho. Congrats to everyone who got in.

Political Communication with 25k. Lots more schools to hear from. This is a great start!

Accepted for BFA Theatre!!! Applied for Financial Aid but decisions won’t be released until Jan. Would have loved to get a scholarship, but all good!

accepted for journalism! also received the $18,000/year luminary scholarship! 1360 sat, 3.86 GPA. congrats to everyone who got in

DD accepted into Theater with Luminary scholarship! International, ACT 31, GPA 3,96. Congrats to all accepted!

I was accepted to the Honors College with a 4.0 UW GPA and a 1520 SAT. I can’t find any listed average stats for the Honors College, except for this from Emerson’s website:

Selection is based on outstanding personal and academic qualities, such as…Superior standardized test results (typically 1300 combined SAT Critical Reading and Math, 54 combined ACT English and Math, or 100 Internet-based TOEFL).

I know that they only accept between 50 and 60 kids a year, so even if you have the stats, it may come down to your essay and high school resumé. Fortunately, Emerson is a great academic school all-around, so you will be able to get a quality education even without the Honors program!
