Hi, I'm Shannon. I'm currently a junior (fall 2011) and this is a crucial time for Juniors and seniors to get narrowed on a school. Ever since I was 10, I've had notebooks full of colleges and majors. I've gone from 115 to 50 to 25 to 10 to 5 to 3 now to 2 schools (literally). My top 2 schools are Ithaca College in Ithaca, New York and Emerson College in Boston, Massachusetts. I'm conflicted because based on a comparison of the 2 via Campus Pride, Ithaca is the best fit for me. Yet, it's a small city. I love the picturesque setting of Boston yet the comparison won't get out of my mind! I live in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. It's cultural value sets in beer and cheese. Wherever I go, that's where I plan on staying and starting a new life. Any suggestions about to go? I love the big city but maybe this smaller city would be a better fit. Any input would be much appreciated :) thanks in advance!

I’m sorry for the extremely long post btw :)

If you plan on staying there, I would go with Emerson. Because even though Ithaca is quaint, Boston’s a major city and you’ll have more fun and job prospects (if you intend to live there after graduation).

I was on YouTube watching videos about both of them and Emerson seems like heaven. They are more of a close knit community as Ithaca (no offense to anyone) seems like the opposite. And I do intend on living there after commencement
