I am majoring in theatre arts with an emphasis in directing. It has always been my dream to live in New York City. The job and internship opportunities are endless. This is why Pace would be good for me - it is in NYC and there is theatre everywhere.

Emerson, however, seems to be the better school for theatre and academics in general.

Pace gave me a $40,000 scholarship and I haven't yet heard finacially from Emerson.

I have heard that Pace is supposed to have a very good theatre program. That combined with theatre everywhere you look, the scholarship plus you wanting to live in the city sounds like Pace would be an excellent choice for you. Pace is also involved with many of the film festivals that are held in the area and the show Inside the Actors Studio is fillmed there. There seems to be so much going on there. Sounds like a fantastic place for a theatre arts major. Best of luck!
