<p>I am a sophomore at Northeastern looking to transfer to either Emerson, Ithaca or Syracuse. I am looking at the screen writing for film and television program for any of these schools. Emerson is the first choice, since I love, love, love the Boston area. I have a 3.5 GPA here at college and a 3.4 for high school. I have organized poetry slams, poetry workshops, won awards for songs that I have written, mentored at local elementary schools the past two years,etc. Do you think that I have a chance to get into any of these places, or am I just dreaming? </p>

<p>I would think you would be in good shape for Emerson and Ithaca. Syracuse freshman admisions is very tough for Newhouse. Don't know how it is for transfers though. Good luck!</p>
