D waitlisted. Wasn’t in her top 5, so will withdraw. Congrats to those accepted and good luck to those waitlisted. To those rejected, my D and her friends are collecting their rejections with “anti-celebration” tiktoks, whatever that means. They’re having some fun with what is an absolutely random process this cycle. Most of you were just as worthy as those who got in…just got unlucky.

Me too, does anyone have waitlist stats from previous years? (ie how many people are accepted off waitlist percentage wise, when waitlist decisions were released, etc)

D waitlisted. WL# 6.
Until Covid Emory’s acceptance from the WL was zero. Year one of Covid they went a couple hundred in. Last year they also took around 100 but they also over enrolled on both campuses and had to get alternative housing for students. It’s guaranteed for the first two years.
Waitlisted.
D22 already has acceptance from UT and Rice and so this was anyway going to be a distant 3rd. Unless they give some hefty scholarship.

DD accepted to Emory U, no scores submitted. Congratulations to others! All the best to everyone, and may we all find the best fit in the end. Do folks happen to know where/how to see financial aid offers? DD cannot seem to access anywhere on the portal – are we missing something, we wonder?

My D22 has the same two frontrunners and after getting rejected from Emory not looking so good for the rest… Hey at least you both have VERY good options!

I have seen the RD numbers but cannot pull then up exactly right now. It was around 29k to Emory and 18k to Oxford that applied. Many of those are the same students. Then accepted it was 2,800 and 2,600 (approximate to each). It was around 9% acceptance rate for RD. As an alum sometime this week I will get all the actual stats.
