Emory Amusement Park Essay

Just curious haha but what did everyone write about for this one?

The Goliath :D

I hope you told them something about yourself, that is who they are interested in understanding.

I wrote about Acrophobia at Six Flags Georgia!

That question kills me. Of all the topics they could’ve chosen…I absolutely hate theme parks. I have so many bad experiences.
Do you think the admissions council would think I’m totally weird if I wrote my essay about how I went on a first date to a certain terrible GA theme park (cough cough Wild Adventures) and threw up on a kiddie roller coaster?

Uh, I think I might write about something else.

I would not take the essay questions so literally. I think it is about writing about a ride that reflects who you are, your values, and/or your outlook on life. My S. wrote about a roller coaster. Good luck and have fun with the essay.

Haha I know! It just would have been easier with a different topic. :stuck_out_tongue: Since my common app essay is more serious, I want to use this essay to showcase my humorous side.

Its optional. I was admitted and I didn’t even write it

Same here. I didn’t write the essay because I couldn’t find anything meaningful to write about.

My quest to build an awesome roller coaster in Roller Coaster Tycoon 3 that wouldn’t generate enough Gs to kill an elephant.
