Emory and Oxford?

Hi everyone.
I just got rejected from my top choice school
Now i am considering options.
I dont understand what is the difference between emory and oxford?
Thanks.

I’m just an applicant, so I’m not affiliated in Emory in any way.

Emory University has nine divisions, including Oxford College and Emory College. Oxford College is located at the original campus of Emory, about 40 miles away from its main campus. Oxford College is a small, two-year, liberal arts school. After two years, if you’ve passed the required courses, you earn the Associate of Arts Degree and automatically qualify to continue for the Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science Degree at Emory College. You’d also be eligible to apply to the school of nursing or business for the Bachelor of Science in Nursing or Bachelor of Business Administration degree. There’s not as much competition to get into Oxford College as there is to get into Emory College, so Oxford is easier to get into.

Is financial aid a significant issue? Full sticker price at these schools is more than 50,000 USD per year. The deadline for the major merit-based financial scholarships, Emory and Oxford Scholars programs, has passed, and it’s difficult to get need-based aid as an international student at most schools–though I can’t say I’m particularly familiar with Emory’s aid.

Oxford is smaller than Emory’s main campus. You don’t have access to as many facilities and classes but some people like the smaller tight-knit community feel.

I do not need aid by the way. thanks for the reply.
what is emory’s niche? im really ignorant about the school i guess.

If I apply to both Emory and Oxford, will I ever be only admitted under Oxford, but rejected at Emory?
Thanks
