<p>Hi, I was wondering if someone could chance me for Emory and Vandy (I'm also applying to Brown but there's no way I'm actually getting in).</p>

Rank (percentile if rank is unavailable): Somewhere in the top 5-7%
AP (place score in parenthesis): Human Geo (4), World (4), APUSH (4), Psych (5), Chem (2)
Senior Year Course Load: AP Enviro, AP Lang, AP Physics B, AP Gov/Hon Econ, AP Stat, Precalc, ASL II
Major Awards (USAMO, Intel etc.): AP Scholar with Honor, National Hispanic Scholar
Extracurriculars: NHS (it's really involved at my school), family (I pretty much raise my younger siblings so I don't have much time for anything else).
Job/Work Experience: Babysitter/Tutor for a family for 2 years (grades 9-10), Babysitter/Tutor for another family (11-now).
Volunteer/Community service: 100 hours at a local elementary school extended day, another 160 hours at a pediatrician's office.
Essays: I think they're good as does my Lang teacher.

<p>You have great hooks, and great credentials, you are a match with these schools! And although brown is a reach for you its not impossible, you have a great gpa and ranking, probably good essays, the only thing for brown is your SAT score, but there is fair chance you can get in, its a low reach for you.</p>

<p>your sat IS low, but you have a good chance at emory with your gpa, ecs, and personal background. and for brown, it’s not impossible, but it’s hard so don’t be discouraged if you dont get in! but being hispanic (no offense) is a big plus. colleges really like diversity. </p>
