quick question about the emory business school.

If I attend emory fall 2010 as a freshmen, I would have 3 years of a liberal arts education, then my senior year, i'll finally start taking business courses? or do i start taking biz courses freshman year?

You need 3.5 GPA recommended for consideration. So get like 3.95 with a triple major in Chemistry, Physics, and Biology and have impressive ECs and you’re fine.

Just to save confusion, this statement makes no sense. It’s impossible to triple major; Emory doesn’t allow it. Also, it’s very unlikely that you would have a major in the college in addition to one in the b school. While it’s possible, it’s very difficult and takes quite a bit of planning. You certainly couldn’t have more than 1 major in the college if you’re also in the b school.

Just do well in your classes (particularly the prebusiness curriculum) and make sure you have all of your requirements for b school admission before the early admission deadline. Worst case scenario is that they defer you to the next semester.

You can enter the bschool whenever you want as long you complete the prerequisites and have enough credits. Most students do not have enough credits until either second semester sophomore year or first semester junior year.

You can also take up to two business classes per semester before being enrolled in the school (you just get lower priority for spots).
