<p>Hey, just wondering what you guys think of my chances, I applied ED II:</p>

<p>GPA: 3.3 UW, My school does not weight grades, 3.8 GPA last 2 semesters
Courses: Taking dual curriculum in secular and Judaic studies, 32 units total. Taken max number of available AP and honors classes at my school; 1 AP sophomore year, 1 honors & 2 AP junior year, and 3 AP senior year.
ACT: 30
EC: Varsity soccer captain, varsity basketball, news editor in chief, yearbook section editor, head lighting tech for 3 years, leader of conservative prayer group, </p>

<p>Honors/awards/erroneous:
Received full scholarship to KU journalism institute summer program, week long internship with neurosurgeon in 12/07, youth leadership forum in Boston, consumer research internship in Atlanta, two week Israeli exchange program.</p>

<p>Work:
Basketball Referee at YMCA and JCC for 3 years.
JCC Summer Assistant Youth Sports Coordinator for 2 summers.</p>

<p>Recs:
Two; one from former KU Science professor and high school teacher, one from AP English teacher.</p>

<p>Had an official campus visit and been in contact with head admissions counselor since spring of 07</p>

<p>Your ACT is in range but maybe a little low. Your GPA is definitely low for Emory's standards, but it's not impossible. It's a reach for sure, but your essays and recs could pull you through. Best of luck.</p>

<p>Thanks for the honest reply kcooper. After seeing all of the posted applications in the forum I definitely know it's a reach. But I think my essays and recs are really good.
