Wow Emory, accepted, just wow. At least this makes me feel better after 2 WL yesterday.

Essays with major structural mistake; incorrect English composition. Grammatical mistake in first sentence, typo in second word. Supplement written without a single "I". Complete lack of interest shown in application.

I won't be accepting, so I wish those on the waiting list good luck.

Yeah, there were a few mistakes in mine as well. I didn't put too much work in because I wasn't too sure I would get in.

No, I was quoting what someone else said about their essays. I was just saying that after re-reading mine, I say that I also had a couple mistakes. The adcom did not say that- I did.

Congrats to everyone who was accepted!
I was rejected, but I am relieved because I was having second thoughts about Emory.
On the other hand, I had a real nice letter of rejection, offered to apply to Oxford, but they didn't let me know about any typoes, was any rejection letter that personalized such as KiKi's?

^My letter WAS NOT personalized (and I was not rejected). I read over and saw myself that I had a few typos. THE ADCOM DID NOT TELL ME. Nothing horrible, just a few mistakes.

D got in. Also William & Mary, Wesleyan, Colgate and Bucknell. Tough decisions now. My D wants to go everywhere. I've been to Emory when I was in Atlanta on business and really liked it. Now she has to fly down to see for herself. Anyone here from Jersey?
