Emory ED II- Responses needed!

I'm beginning to get REALLY stressed out about Emory ED II (Goizueta).. so i'm asking the famous question......what do you all think my chances are?
A) 30%
B) 50%
c) 75%
D) other

I have NOT visited the campus, but I'M EXTREMELY INTERESTED and OBSESSED with their university and it would literally mean the WORLD to me if I got in. My stats are pretty low, so just wondering if there's some hope?

Weighted GPA- 4.052 (don't know what it is unweighted)
NO RANKING.

SATs are low :(
SAT I: V 660 M 700 Wr 660
SAT II: Bio 620, Math IC 730, US Hist 660

Took all honors/APs in EXTREMELY competitive high school, ranked 4th in Bergen county. AP Exam scores are low- got two 3's in US Hist and Govt

ECs:
*Wrote for school newspaper one year
*Debate team, French Club, and Track&Field for 3 years
*Hand-in-Hand Club (for handicapped children) for 2 years
*Science League for 2 years
*EMT club for one year
*Volunteered at hospital - 117 hours of service.

Summer Activities:
-Took a Constitutional Law Course at summer program in Columbia Univ.
(the professor's writing me a recommendation)
-Congressional Youth Leadership Conference in Washington D.C.
(yea yea I know it's not that prestigious, but whatever)

I'm not doing financial aid but they are need-blind so I think that doesn't really matter anyways..

I am also really interested in music, and recently sent in two tracks of somethng me and my friend put together.. i play keyboard and he plays indian drums called "Tabla"- so it's kinda original ish? i dont know haha

BAD POINTS: i totally screwed up my junior year and got 2 Cs in physics honors and precalc honors (but my precal teacher's writing my recommendation) the classes were literally impossible!!!!

Recommendations= great- one's by my AP US hist teacher, and precalc honors teacher.. (dunno bout my counselor's though)- another is from my Con Law professor from summer @ Columbia, as I said before.

Oh, and only me and another kid are doing ED II from my school-

What are my chances and what suggestion do you have?! I'm hell bent on attending Emory :(

Bumppppppppppp

I peg your chances at 30 to 50%.

u from NJ? what school?

yeah, NJ...Northern Valley Regional High School

anymore feedback?
I forgot to add National Honor Society and French Honor Society

If you are in the decile of your class, I think you have a 50% chance of getting in. I know you stated that your HS does not rank but your HS transcript probably proivedes some groupings so Emory can evaluate how well you did overall. Emory historically takes top 10% students. The two junior year Cs won't help, but you seem to be a qualified candidate..

sorry but i couldn't help be jelous of your weighted GPA how did you get 4.0 with 2 cs?

i got 2 bs as lowest grade my entire hs and had to settle for gpa 3.66 ( no weighting allowed)

looking at this really ****es me off my school is so gay especially with no weighted grade people from acedmic assitance over qualifyed me for national honor society with a astronomical gpa requiremnt of 3.8 everyyear.

At an info session last year, Emory admissions said they strip away the weight and recaclulate gpa on a 4.0 scale. Of course they look at strength of curriculum too, so those honors/AP's still matter as much as ever, but high schools have such different methods of weighting, don't stress over what other people are doing at other schools.

wow jenn you are totally getting in!!! you little indian

hahha ;)

sanima233,

well it doesn't really matter. aren't most schools considered seperately? i dont know, our school is really annoying, and despite the seemingly high GPA there are people with a 4.7. so basically, i'm the one in a bad situation. they'll look at my Cs and probably throw the application aside.

i would say 50% chance of getting in (esp for ed)

this blows!

Letters are sent out today.. oh god
