Emory ED II? Safeties?

Hi everyone! In the probable case that I don’t get into ED Duke or EA Chicago, I was just wondering my chances of getting into to Emory ED II.

Asian Male from California

Currently at a 3.96 GPA unweighted

I’ve taken AP Human Geography, APUSH, AP Calculus AB, French 3 SL, English 3 HL, all other classes were honors
Currently taking AP Statistics, AP Calculus BC, English 4 HL, French 4 SL
Class rank at 25 out of 650

Superscored SAT at 2200
SAT Biology- 770
SAT USH-760

Intended Major: International Studies

4 year member at a reputable orchestra (need to audition, nationally known)
Volunteering at a hospital for a year
Member of varsity tennis for two years, Captain on JV for a year
2 year volunteer at the local tennis academy teaching kids rules and etiquette
3 year Key Club member
1 year member of Public Health Club
Rather weak ECs, I know

My essay writing is pretty good; several advisers wanted a copy of my essays for their own records.
Getting my recommendations from an English teacher and social science teacher, plus the owner of the tennis academy I volunteer at and my music teacher.

In addition, what are some safety schools for me? Currently, I have a few UCs and Tulane as my safeties, suggestions?

Anyone?

Your GPA and SATs are great! Your ECs aren’t strong, but I wouldn’t at all call them weak either. It’ll come down to your essays I think. But honestly, I think you’ll have a good chance applying for ED for Emory.

I think you have a really good chance at Duke ED and Uchicago, and you will probably get into Emory EDII! It seems like you already have enough safeties but if you want more, you should look at schools like bucknell or maybe boston university (sorry i dont know that many schools)

Could you chance me back?
