I made a thread for students who have applied ED1 to Emory this year because I thought it might be nice to get to know others who applied as well :)</p>

<p>Hey! I applied to Emory ED1 for the class of 2015 too and I’m so excited!!! We have a little more than 3 weeks left guys!!! This is so exciting! If anyone finds out what time OPUS will have our decision letters posted on the 15th PLEASE post it!</p>

<p>It’s December and I still have 5 items “initiated on OPUS.” I’ve emailed them and they say since they switched to a new system it’s taking a little longer then normal. Anyone else having same problem? </p>
<p>Also, does anyone know at exactly what time we a notified of decision, I probably won’t be able to sleep that night/week anyways.</p>
<p>begood - You should be fine just check with your counselor tomorrow might as well…and I’ve heard it’s 5:00 PM EST on Dec 15th but that’s for most other schools. As for Emory I’m not sure. I think we can call around that date and ask.</p>

<p>the past three years (at least) emory has notified ED candidates on the saturday before dec. 15th…thats the 11th this year!</p>

<p>No I just have 2 - both Emory Scholars things, although I’m not worrying about that. Personally I wouldn’t worry either. This is the first time they are doing everything on OPUS (I think). There may be numerous problems. I wouldn’t fret. However you may just want to call admissions on Monday. They may say OPUS is having problems, but just say you are aware and you wanted to know if they could check themselves (manually I am assuming). Something like that. Good luck.</p>
<p>Going back to when we are going to hear I have not heard about anything for this year but in the past 2 years it came out the Saturday before at midnight on OPUS which is 1 WEEK FROM TODAY! AHH and any other year before that when it is on December 15th it was posted on OPUS at midnight!! GOOD LUCK EVERYBODY WE ARE SO CLOSE!!!</p>
