@nocrackup, which items are you missing??

Right angi - I don’t think they have to be different. Tomorrow I’ll call and I’ll ask them about it, then at the end I’ll slip in “By the way, when do ED results come out?”

I said this before but I’m just repeating myself. I have 65 posts (counting this one) since Dec 4th.

Great idea. I’m dying to know when we’ll get them!
And make sure they give you a clear and direct answer! Nothing like the e-mail I received few days ago!!

My scholars essay now says initiated, but I don’t even have anything that came up on mine about recommendations at all. Weird, but honestly, I think I’m done freaking out about OPUS. I sent in everything and I’m sure they have it.

But just to make sure, you didn’t have to submit seperate recommendations or anything for Emory Scholars right? Just the 2 recs and counselor rec that i was submitting anyway?

Lol, same here lmilllz… I’m so tired from being obsessed with every single thing on OPUS…
And yeah, I believe no seperate recs were needed.

Missing:
counselor recommendation, early decision agreement (maybe cause I didn’t send hard copy, I just faxed??), high school transcript, scholar - student essay, scholar - school portion, scholar school recommendation, counselor recommendation

the other three FAFSA/tax stuff I guess is okay, since no one can do them yet. But the other 7…I have no idea what’s going on.

I hope so. That’s what I thought - apparently that’s not the case though. I don’t even think ED applicants ever become Scholar semifinalists though.

Yeah angi I’ll try and be upfront, but when they say December 15th I just know I’ll say “alright thanks” haha.

Haha yeah TJC, i know what you mean… I just hope they tell us something about the possibility getting them over the weekend!

@nocrackup
I think you should really give them a call tomorrow morning ASAP!

I have one initiated item : Statement of Finances

I didn’t have any initiated items until yesterday, but when i check OPUS this time THAT thing appeared…

But the problem is that I sent the statement of finances.

So… Do i have to call Emory admission office to check?

What is this “Statement of Finances” in the first place? Never heard of it…

I’m facing the same problem, the initiated statement, but it may have something to do with the fact that i’m an international student…

I’m international and I don’t have that on my profile.
Did you guys send in the financial statement? I believe it is part of the application for international students… I sent mine in last October.

Because we are international, we need to certify that we have enough money to pay tuition (at least for the first year).

Why… I sent it to Emory Admission office

Probably i need to call them then…

If you sent it then you should check with them tomorrow (well actually today now since its past midnight) morning.
It’s weird how that doesn’t show up in my profile though. I’d expect it to pop up with “completed” next to it…

not sure if this helps anybody but i still have no outstanding items and the last email i got from them was dec 6.

For the people who got e-mails in December, was that just an automated status update on your apps? The last e-mail I got was a status update in November.

Yeah it was just a status update. So yeah now I have 3 FA forms to do and the Emory Scholars Recommendation.

I still might just stay up till 1215 tonight, I have this feeling…

if anyone calls, i would phrase it like “is there anyway we will be notified this weekend or before the 15th?” I would say this because they are told to give us the date on the website. That is the scheduled date for most ED schools, however if they can get it out earlier, they do. We don’t want the automatic response of “December 15th” anymore, so try phrasing it differently.

I have three FA items now initiated too, which cannot be completed until January, I called.
