Thank you for ur response! I think I need to call tmrw to resolve tax thingy issues. But, you still have FAFSA and IDOC forms on ur list right? cuz I do!

@LOLLAND yeah IDOC and FAFSA will stay there until February or so because that’s when those parts of FA get taken care of!

this week is going to be brutal… i’ve been waiting for the past month and a half since I submitted the app and now it feels like it’s going to be forever until the results come out.

Hey guys if you want something to calm you down go watch Aziz Ansari’s standup on netflix, it’s called “Aziz Ansari: Dangerously Delicious.” He has an entire segment where he makes fun of his nephew’s college essay and it’s hilarious. It starts at around 37:20.

That was actually really funny. Aziz Ansari is great, and that was worth waiting even longer to start my homework! :)

5 DAYS!

I’m really freaking out, I think I’m very under qualified for Emory and I kind of regret applying ED1 because I don’t want to get my heart broken when I don’t get in :’( . This is literally the worst and I just want to get the bad news over with. At least a lot of you have a good idea that you’re going to get in.
Best of luck to everyone anyway

@picklestudent i’m sure you’re more than qualified. What’s your SAT?

guys five days…I’m beyond scared

@pickledstudent Don’t worry! You can’t compare yourself to other people. That is why I do not think it makes sense when people asked to be chanced because high schools are vastly different. Some schools offer a lot more AP classes, which provides more opportunities to do better. In some schools it is much more difficult to receive a particular grade than at another school. For example, when I visit some schools they claim that the average student they admit has a 4.0 gpa, but when I look at my naviance the average accepted gpa from my school will be like a 3.6, so you can never really tell! Every high school is different and admission counselors take that into consideration.

Emory’s admissions blog just posted that the results will officially come out on Monday exactly at 6 pm in case anyone wanted to know

How do you check the result on OPUS?

@rps101 I had my dad call Office of Financial Aid today. And they said they have not received my fax although I had definately sent. So my dad just re-sent our tax forms, and it is now indicated as being “completed”! Thanks for good info!

Did everybody get the e-mail about results being released?

Remember when a couple people got e-mails about financial aid? Were you assigned a financial aid advisor? What did this e-mail say? I indicated that I wanted financial aid on my application and on my CSS profile that I am interested in receiving financial aid but I didn’t get this e-mail . Does this mean I’m not accepted? UGHHHH HHH GUSJN;

guys don’t worry it’s a generalized email! and @LOLLAND anytime I want us all to get this really badly

and to check opus decisions you have to scroll to the bottom it’s on the left its a link that says view online decision

only 5 days guys!!!

This is the worst I don’t think I’m going to make it till Monday

guys I’m so unstable lol
