Do y’all have finals this week? I have my first one tomorrow, and it is sooo difficult for me to concentrate!!

@APBS1909 Good luck! my school uses semester-term, so my finals are in Jan

@LOLLAND Thanks!

4 DAYS 22 HOURS

Did you guys all get the email about the date and time they are releasing the acceptances?

@rapmed YES!!

@rapmed Yep. There was also a blog post about it.

What do you guys think the acceptance rate will be for ED1 kids?

@rapmed I think in the previous years it has been around 35%, but I don’t know if that will change since more people applied ED this year.

it’s about 50%. http://apply.emory.edu/pdf/CounselorProfile2013.pdf scroll down and look that should put most of you at ease.

@rps101 I had no idea it was that high!! Hopefully it works out!

@APBS1909 yes so I have no doubt many of us will get in

Haha even if the acceptance rate hovers around 50%, i’m still super nervous :-S

I think 50% is a little high, last year wasn’t it 35%?

it only showed me 2017 which is a 50% rate but idk about 2018 I couldn’t find it

@pickledstudent Last year it was ~45%

if u combine acceptance rate from ED1 and ED2, think its about 35% @pickledstudent
Emory has a generous % for ED1 particularly

@pickledstudent I just calculated Emory acceptance rate based upon class of 2017 data
ED1: 52.9%
ED2: 20.5%
ED1+ED2: 35.4%
RD: 26.8%

ED1 is so high :x

also, I was stalking last year’s thread and the year before…most of them got in. we can do it!
