Do you think it’s bad that I only took 5.5 aps? My school offers about 20, but no freshmen are allowed to take ap classes, the only one available to sophomores is AP Euro, and juniors rarely take more than 2 and seniors rarely take more than 3. We’re a top 50 private school, so we’re very competitive. I just worry that I haven’t taken enough…

Yeah mine’s similar to that too. We have like AP Human Geography for freshman but no college really takes that. I had only taken 4 by the end of my junior year, so I’m taking six for senior year and I’m dyingggggg lol.
Yeah mines the same deal. APHUG for freshman and psych has an age requirement so I couldn’t take it until later and had to fill my schedule with electives. And no IB at my school. So I took one freshman year, 1 sophomore year, 3 junior year, and 4 senior year.
I also took every honors class available if I didn’t take the AP.
But my school offers like 20 APs. Y’all think I’ll be ok?
I reported my scores on the app: 5 on human geo and 4s on everything else.

@ismitah I think you are fine. Look, colleges can’t expect us to take every single AP class at our school, in many cases it just isn’t possible because of scheduling. Like my school only does 7 classes a year through block scheduling, and science we do every three days, the fourth day being gym, so I can’t really fit another science into my schedule. My school also doesn’t offer IB courses. I have taken all honors and AP courses all four years and also this year two courses through Syracuse University.
@NeuroDude that makes sense because that really is hard to do. I wanted to take Micro macro this year but it didn’t work out. And I can’t do dual enrollment because I take my sis to school.

I think this is good! I was expected a 20 something increase for Oxford. They’ve had increases of double digits every year and the slow down to 3% was not expected by me
Is Emory increasing the amount of spots or is it the same for ED1?
