im in the same boat as you. I was 150% into Emory and my whole family went there and i didnt get in. it stings but there are a lot of other great schools out there. Hey and if your still set on it, a transfer isnt out of the question
Did anyone apply for financial aid?
I did. Got my expected package late today
How do you see your expected package? I got accepted yesterday but my family has only filled out the CSS profile as of right now… Did you fill out the two other forms already? Do you know if we won’t be able to get our estimate by then?
Has anyone tried applying for need-based aid after the deadline? I never submitted any forms and checked no on the application.
If you’ve cjanged your mind about aid I would call the office of financial aid first thing tomorrow morning.

@BlackHuntress an expected package is the financial aid package that you can expect to get for next year, but it’s not the final definite one. The expected package is calculated on 2014 tax forms and CSS profile to give you an estimate on how much you can expect to pay next year. The actual financial aid package will be calculated based on the FAFSA and the CSS profile
You should be getting your expected package soon if you applied for financial aid on time and turned in everything. The only thing in your to do list should be the FAFSA and the IDOC packet
