Emory ED1/ED2 Class of 2022

How do you know that? Did they send you an email?

@Intelligent08

Based on past threads, the decision came out at 6:00 pm so I assume it’s the same for this year. @time123

I just found that Emory actually comes out The 14th basically I searched Emery class of 2022 into my Facebook and some boy got excepted through the quest bridge scholarship thing and in the email from quest bridge which is essentially an email from Emory they congratulated him on his acceptance and said that he would receive his portal on December 14 when the early decision one decisions come out

@Impp Are they going to send us an email alerting us when to check the portals? Also, how did you find this letter that said the 14? Thanks :slight_smile:

@Intelligent08

basically go on Facebook and search Emory Class of 2022. don’t go to any of the groups or anything just click search. the first result is a guy “Clemente Dehoyos Jr” if u click on it he basically got accepted to Emory through QuestBridge and QuestBridge always accepts students earlier than the college itself. If you read the letter he posted, from emory, you’ll see it says he will get more information December 14th when the early decision 1 candidates are notified. Comment back if this worked for you/you were able to find it

@time123 sorta crazy bc I’ve only heard of Emory releasing on the fifteenth ahhh I’m so nervous

@IAmSoTired4
Your GPA is low however, your SAT is (barely) 75th percentile. I will say Low Reach, your demographic doesn’t help you much either.Hopefully your essays were good as Emory is very holistic. Are you Pre- Med?

@ryanl20
I would say High Match because you school seems to be an Emory favorite. You GPA is very Good. I wish you took more AP classes. However you did go to private school so that should suffice as far as rigor is concerned.
You can post the link to the scatter gram if you like.
Good Luck to you.

@lmpp

Thanks @VANDEMORY1342 . I am pre-med and that’ll probably bring my chances down. One thing that helps me sleep at night is that on my school naviance page, no one has been denied to Emory if they ED (couple students had lower GPAs and SAT scores than me). I’m hoping that trend continues this year. But my Unweighted GPA jumped about .5 points compared to freshman and sophomore year. Thanks again!

my sat is now 1440. the decision comes out in 10 days… I just wonder.
