I applied to Emory's Goizueta Business Scholars, not Emory Scholars. I was wondering if anyone else applied to the same thing, and if anyone did, did they receive the decision? I'm kind of worried. =/.</p>

<p>I did, I never got an email and it doesn't say anything on OPUS.</p>
<p>If you got into the semi's on ESP you'll have an admissions decision under the admissions section of OPUS</p>
<p>I applied for the undergraduate Goizueta business scholars program too, comoseva, and I haven't heard anything from them (nor do I have any changes under OPUS). I e-mailed them about it today though and will let you know about the reply. Good luck!</p>
<p>Thank you mathwizard! I tried calling both the undergrad admissions office, but was told to call Goizueta's admissions and I only got a recording. My counselor called too, but also got a recording.<br>

<p>I got a reply from Emory today that said the following:</p>
<p>"We are mailing the decisions this week."</p>
<p>Hopefully they understood I was referring to the Goizueta scholars program and not the Emory scholars program. Anyways, best of luck again to you all!</p>
<p>That's still odd though. I live in Atlanta, and I was supposed to receive it yesterday. Still no word.</p>
<p>Same here - I'm in Alpharetta, GA and haven't recieved anything. I'm assuming though these were probably sent separately from Emory Scholars.</p>
<p>Weird. I live in Alpharetta too. I know this girl from Walton who already received and got semifinalist for Goizueta Scholars, so I think there is something wrong. I'll try to call them again on Monday.</p>
<p>Results are out. You should have received an email. There are 20 semifinalists.</p>
<p>"The Goizueta Scholar Selection Committee has completed an initial review of nominees for our inaugural program. We regret to inform you that after careful consideration of your application and nomination materials, you were not among those chosen as a semifinalist for the Goizueta Scholars Program. The process was extremely selective and we identified only 20 semifinalist candidates from among a significant pool of applicants with extraordinary credentials."</p>
<p>So no Goizueta for me.</p>
<p>I wasn't selected for Emory Scholars....which I KNEW wasn't going to happen...the only person that I know of that has ever gotten it at my school was a grad from last year and she was a genius (Salutatorian) so yeah. I don't even think I wanted it that badly anyway at all.</p>

<p>My counselor called Emory and they said they had problems with the mailing some decisions, and if your counselor asks, they'll send the decision over.
I did not get semifinalist. :( oh well.</p>
<p>If there were only 20 semifinalists, does anybody know how many finalists there were?</p>
