Emory online app??

Emory just emailed me a "personalized online app." Apparently they're trying to recruit me (or get their admit rate down, lol), judging by the massive amount of mail I'm always getting from them. Did anyone else get this? I got one from Tulane like this awhile back, but it waived the admissions fee. It's not really clear if this one does, though. Anyone know for sure? And is there a separate app for the Oxford College?

Sorry, I'm full of questions tonight, lol. But I might consider applying if it's free...

This is a copy of the email they sent me, my name removed of course.

Dear _______,

Because of your interest in Emory, I've selected you to receive a special online application. Some of the application will be completed before you begin, with the information that you have already provided to us. This will simplify the process and give you extra time to focus your energies elsewhere.

________, I encourage you to take advantage of this convenient opportunity to apply online. Just make sure you apply by our Regular Decision deadline, January 15, 2005. Begin your application now. I look forward to reviewing it soon.

Sincerely,

Daniel C. Walls
Dean of Admission
Emory University

P.S. There's no need to complete this online application to Emory University if you've already submitted another application. It probably crossed in the mail. If you're already in the process of applying for Early Decision II, please disregard this email.

i just got this (and i got the Tulane one) and I went to fill it out, only to be asked for the application fee...I guess its not as "personal" as Tulanes. I dont think this is to apply for Oxford College, I think it is specifically for Emory. Hope this helps
