<p>they are both obviously good schools so i can see your problem. cornell is very strong in the sciences but if you mean by saying that you don't want to do premed track that you don't want to do sciences then i think emory has the better liberal arts majors that you might be looking for. the locations are also polar opposites. ithica is extremely cold in the winters and mild in the summers while emory has mild winters and warmer summers. i don't think you can go wrong either way in your decision but i wouldn't let the ivie prestige get in the way of coming to emory. emory has about the same amount so it probably won't make a huge difference. good luck</p>
<p>That's a good choice to have to make! Cornell has the prestige and excellent academics, but it's also cold and is known as a premed pressure cooker. If you can, do admitted student programs for both and stay overnight.</p>
