Jean Pierre, disregard Emory's potential for growth and improvements. It's just potential for now. What matters the most is the final result and the processes. I live in Texas and to be honest, Rice>Emory in most aspects. Go to Rice and hopefully we will be friends thurr.

The problem is that even thoul i like both Rice and Emory, and i will admit I think Rice might be a better school in some aspects (such as the sciences) Emory gives me more options for my aspirations in Poli Sci, Pre Law, and international relations.

It seems to me your gut is telling you Emory. I know you are confused and want to do well, but you just can't predict what will happen. However, if your a good enough student to be accepted to both schools, you'll do well no matter where you go. I think, from what I've read, that you would be more comfortable at Emory as far as the enviroment goes. The only thing about Rice, is the smaller classrooms are an advantage. Something you should keep in mind: Your going to be living at this place for atleast the next four years... go where you are comfortable and would like to be in your day-to-day life for a long period of time.

No matter what you decide, they're both excellent schools. Best of luck to you!
