If anyone who applied to Emory or Oxford would drop their stats thread. Thanks Accepted, Denied, Waitlisted please
You will get few if any responses as most who were denied admission move on. You are better off looking at older discussions here for two time periods, early December for Early Decision 1 threads and late March for regular decision. For ED1, you’re looking at 3.7 to 4.0 and 1400 to 1550 and for RD, you’re looking at 3.8 to 4.0 and 1480 to 1600. These are ballparks and not adjusted for diversity. You should also keep in mind that people lower than these ranges are admitted and denied as the application process is holistic.
Just saw your earlier post that you are going into your junior year and you listed your own stats. Please do not let my post above discourage you.
Emory is about so much more than stats. Yes, you have to have high stats to be accepted but the process is very holistic. I know this isn’t what you want to hear but there is no way to predict if you’ll get admitted. My son had friends who were very high stats and accepted to schools like Michigan, Brown and UNC Chapel Hill (out of state) and not Emory. Apply and wish for the best. Consider ED if it’s your top choice. Good luck!
Thank you. I am looking forward to doing early decision 1. Thanks
@ljberkow Thank you. And you didn’t discourage me. I still working on trying to boost up my gpa for high school and hopefully I can by the time my senior year rolls around thank you!
