thanks guys...itll also be really helpful if you guys list your scores to see how i compare ESPECIALLY EMORY ALUMNI, Undergrads, Prospectives, and maybe even Admission!!!!

if your connected to Emory give a good word to Emory for me!

also is there an advantage of one sitting sat test over a combined sat score? meaning if i get 2100 in one sitting…would that be an advantage over 2100 combined sat score?

Refer to the Class Profile of the recently admitted class, and make sure your essays articulate why EMORY is right for you, and not just any ordinary school. Good luck! :)

thanks!!!
where can i find it lol?

P.S. people plz reply your opinions!!! thhanks!

Here you go:

[Class Profile | Emory College of Arts and Sciences Admission](Facts and Stats | Emory University | Atlanta GA)

Also, realize that grades and test scores aren’t everything! You don’t need the ‘total package.’ If you can show Emory why you’re special, I think that’s what sets you apart. Obviously it’s important to have challenged yourself in high school with difficult classes and be a part of activities you enjoy. Good luck!

thanks!!! yeah im trying to do that with my essays…so far i did the common app essay…i just need to do the supp…

can anyone proof read it for me?

I don’t think Emory rejects people with perfect SATs. They’re not Harvard or anything. Plus they need people with high scores to make their admission statistics look good and remain a top 20 school. The number of applications has dropped for the past two years but the SAT scores of the incoming classes have gone up. So I would say they emphasize SAT and GPA a lot.

No Emory have rejected perfect SATs before…just because one has a perfect SAT doesnt mean that he is a perfect student or one that Emory looks for…

Also Emory is not Harvard, nor does it need to be…Emory is emory

thats how i look at things…lol

Are you applying early decision II or regular?

I applied for ED1…im so nervous!

Dude I’m a current Emory student, and judging from your stats, you should get in. I wasn’t going to chime in, but when I saw that you were so anxious, I just had to tell you your chances. When you apply early decision, especially at Emory, it shows great intent. This is a critical factor for Emory in their admission process. You have solid extracurricular activities and a diverse perspective to add judging from your background (they really care about this). I believe you should find out your decision really soon!

thank you lefty!!!

im really glad that you responded…man im getting little sleep bc im so worried!
Your statements give me hope!!!

I will thank you first after i receive my decision!

also the sats that i submited was 2150: 760math 730CR 660wr
