Emory RD 2025

I disagree. Emory does not track demonstrated interest so they would not say that. It’s right on their website.

Did anyone get in without a test score? I didn’t submit mine because it definitely wouldn’t have helped and might have hurt. Got rejected anyway. (I know this isn’t why I got rejected, but I wonder if it factored in)

How difficult is it to get off the Oxford waitlist?

congratulations! just curious her gpa? haven’t seen much about no test scores submitted. feels like schools considered it against you.

DD was accepted to Emory. Is there still a chance to get merit aid?

Accepted to Oxford, rejected from Emory
3.98 W (school doesn’t calculate UW)
18 honors courses, 5 AP classes
No class rank
No SAT or AP scores submitted
Leadership in 5 clubs
Founded diversity initiative at predominantly white school
Frontline Healthcare Worker (Pharmacy Technician)

Anyone got any merit based aid?

I believe that comes in a few days?

By the way - Any other accepted student’s letters have a huge error? Congrats on admittance as class of 2024 ? and then congrats again as class of 2025??? Like they forgot to finish updating last year’s acceptance letter ?

Hi there, Unweighted is 3.94, weighted is 4.2ish.

got rejected and the line at the end of the letter abt transferring made me think it was Guaranteed Transfer but im pretty sure its not lol false hope (so just to check, other ppl who got rejected have that line too right?)

also I think they didnt edit the rejection letter from ED bc mine says “We appreciate that Emory University was your first choice” when I only applied RD and it wasnt my first choice lol

Same for my daughter. She wouldn’t have gone even if she had gotten in. At first we thought they were being rather presumptuous, but then realized they must have accidentally posted their ED rejection letter.
