<p>I was really hoping to get in or even get defered. However, I was rejected. Here is the letter. </p>

<p>The Admission Committee has completed a thorough review of your application. I am sorry to inform you that we are unable to offer you a position in this entering class to Emory College.</p>

<p>We appreciate the time, thought and effort you spent in preparing your application for admission. The Admission Committee takes great care in evaluating candidates. Each year we invariably face the regrettable situation of denying admission to many applicants who have a sincere interest in Emory University.</p>

<p>i ****ign cried. it was the worst feeling in the world. ive been thinking baout this moment everyday, going on this forum, calling them, doing everything I could. I dont know what to do right now. Now I have to apply to all the schools.
I had a 2130 SAT score and a 3.2 GPA. My GPA is probably what destroyed me. How about you?</p>

<p>Man i really hope i can get into a college. THis rejection letter is reality. I have a decent SAT score but my GPA is just too bad. Lets be optimistic and move forward. This feels like ****.</p>

<p>i've never heard of them actually deferring an ed applicant so you cant really expect that. i was rejected as well but it happens.</p>

<p>Bballaz, i think it was the same thing in my case i had a 32 act and a 3.3 Gpa. So, im thinking thats what really did it. I Even visited the campus to show intrest (frm wisconsin so its not the little twn next door)..and I really wanted to cry to because I been waiting sooo long for this and was really trying to just think positive, but i kind of had my doubts the whole time...& im finishing apps for Vanderbilt, Rice, Rhodes, Knox, and i guess OXFORD now. I thought about USC, but its a tough call.</p>
