<p>I just got an e-mail about Oxford Scholars. I’m pretty sure I didn’t send in a required material or two, so I could be getting mine early.</p>
<p>Other Emory thread shows that some people got notification today that they are OXFORD Scholar finalists.</p>
<p>I’m an Oxford Scholars finalists! No idea what that means for my chances at Emory Scholars, which I already applied for…but my essay was so bad that I doubt I have a shot lol. Good luck to all of you!</p>

<p>“All nominees will learn whether or not they become semifinalists in late January via the U.S. Postal Service.”</p>
<p>^^ although i’m almost positive we find out online (in reference to the “via the US postal service” part)</p>
<p>also just rereading the website it says that we learn about both semifinalist and finalist decisions in late january so i dont think semifinalist decision would be the 31st because then finalist decisions would be pushed to february. just a thought</p>

<p>Seems like it has to be a typo. I read that last year decisions went up online before they came in the mail, and Oxford scholars decisions were online, so I’m wondering if maybe we won’t be notified by snail mail after all. I’m guessing we’ll find out this week.</p>

<p>We’re going to find out on January 31st, even if we only applied to Emory scholars and not Goizueta scholars. If you applied to both, you may find out then but I’m not sure.</p>

<p>Actually, an article on the other thread claimed that the number of applicants increased. It also mentioned that it was possibly due to the advertising and international student appeal.</p>
