Emory social scene?

I recently visited Emory while the students were on spring break, so I didn't really get a good impression of what the social scene and greek life were like. Also, I don't know what the student body is like. I would appreciate it if someone who visited Emory while school was in session, or someone who goes there, could tell me what they think.

i got into emory last year, and my best friend goes there...

i say the social scene is good...i visited once, very nice school, good academically as well,

Was there for a summer term, was there a couple weeks into the fall semester. Its a pretty decent social scene, but its not as "nice" as some other schools, i.e. frat brothers are more territorial and it isn't that community oriented for a school of its size. Rumors of 'cliqueyness' are very deserved.

What other colleges have social scenes and student bodies comparable to Emory's?

What do you mean? How selective?

Case/WR, Chicago, maybe WashU although it's more lively.

I disagree completely with Case AND chicago. those three only share approximate size.

Schools like Emory are socially (meaning lively social scene and general feeling) (all ranges of selectivity and friendliness of student body)
Rice
Duke
Brown
Dartmouth
Northwestern
Wake Forest
WashU
Stanford
Princeton

By comparable I mean what other schools have party scenes that are similar to Emory's.
