since theyre mailing decisions out tom. today is my last day to back out of early decision agfgreement; did those of u that applied ed feel real hesitant cuz im really feeling this way. ALSO thopse kids who transferred what did they not see at emory that made them do this.

why did you app ed if you were hesitant?

since its still my second choice i was deffered ed 1 from my first

well, ijm, actually from the looks of it, it's too late anyway:
"Can I change my application from Early Decision to Regular Decision?

Yes, Notify the Admission Office in writing by November 15 (ED I) or by January 15 (ED II). Your application will be moved to the Regular Decision plan, with admission notification by April 1."

bottom of the page

sorry, youre sht outta luck on that one. should have read the fine print? maybe youll get deferred though... thats always a possibility.

in a letter i got yesterday it says "If you feel you are unable to abide by the terms of Early Decision, you may request that you aplication be changed to our Regular Decision plan. Your request must be receive by November 15th for EArly Decision I or January 30th (THIS IS IT) for Early Decision II to make such a change.
Also by what I said, I still will def. be happy at Emory it is by far my top 4 schools and duke i doubt ill be able to get in rd after being defferred. the only thing im hestiant is that i hate the fact that it is binding although i want that advantage.
two more things: is jawaad right or a little extreme lol
and also can u guys plz tell me if u know of anybody that has transfered; the reasons for this in what Emory was missing.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH

um...today's the 31st, not the 30th.

jawaad is an idiot, go read his other posts. he just says stuff to get people ****ed. emory is a great school. if youve visited and talked to some people tehre, youll know if its right for you. the kids are smart, the profs are good, theres plenty of beer to drink, emory has every activity you could want, atlanta is a great town, it sounds like youre stuck with ed2, so go with it and if you hate it transfer out after one semester. emory has 94% freshman retention. almost everyone has a good time. i think youll be fine. :o)

thats supposed to be : o )

thganks u so much that was real encouraging
