I’m having trouble writing my supplement for Emory. The prompt I chose is “In the spirit of Emory’s tradition of courageous inquiry, what question do you want to help answer and why?”. Are they looking for more academic, philosophical, or casual questions? Should I relate it more to myself? I guess I don’t know where to start.
I’m also trying to write my Emory supplement…I’ll probably talk about some social political issue, but you can certainly go into other areas like philosophy or science if you like. I think they care more about the spirit of “courageous inquiry” than the actual question itself so yeah, relate it to yourself and emphasize your individuality I guess (the “courageous” part…)
