No I don’t think so cuz I have a 4.0 in college. So we shouldn’t worry too much and fingers crossed.
I mean overall, but there are some people transfer out of Emory as well(I feel that UChicago receives lots of students from Emory), so there should be more empty seats.
Did you apply to Vandy as well? I feel like I saw your username on that thread lol.
Yess lolol
Did you apply for HOD or Econ by chance?
I applied Econ or Econ joint majors for every school.
Ah ok cool.
29 is a really good score. I think Emory’s range is a 31-34. I don’t think it would hurt, but do what you feel is best.
When do you guys think we’ll hear back? I keep anxiously checking since the website says we’ll know by April 30th ._.
I think April 29th or 30th.
They changed the notification estimation from Late April to Early May on their website’s transfer page
they typically release their results on Wednesday evening 6pm EST so another week of waiting till 5.4 i guess probably too many applicants this year. I cant think of another reason for putting off the notification date to early May. This is unusual
I saw by April 30th, but who really knows
The CSS Profile is displaying Emory University’s Financial Aid Award Letter date as being April 29, so it’s definitely a possibility we could find out on that day.
Your theory could be accurate. Northwestern received an extra 600 transfer applications this year compared to last cycle.
I don’t think that’s going to be a possibility anymore imo, they changed their notification deadline to early May. You can look at it yourself (Transfer Applicants | Emory University | Atlanta GA). They would’ve not changed it from late April to early May if April 29th were the decision release day.
I applied to one college that said decisions would be posted after April 1, yet they were released a week early on March 23, just because they change something doesn’t mean it’s 100% going to be true.
Dude how many of the same colleges did we apply to
Did anyone apply to Vanderbilt and UVA as well?
You know
