they do ,
you need to ask your counselor. and s/he will send it.

Good luck to all who will be Emory bound! Does emory offer any other merit scholarship other than Emory Scholar…can’t afford Emory unless I get some $$

Hey guys, for some reasons, an admission officer emailed me that I am still missing the ED2 agreement, is it the sign that I am accepted? lol

it just means they’re missing your ed2 sheett haha

@hopefullyemory: Lets hope that is not just that they are missing stuffs! haha

Is there a due date for the midyear reports??? Or is it just ASAP?

It is just ASAP.
Weird thing, but it said on the email that if things are not in by the 5th, the application becomes a RD. So you guys should check.
I am also missing my ED2 agreement form for some reason.
I did it on the common app 2 months ago.
But today, I had to fax it and mail it to the undergraduate admission office.
So if youre missing something, send it fast.
D-12…!

When will the decision be posted online??? I’m getting nervous…

15th Feb
Just got defered from UMICH, i am very worried for my emory ED2 right now :((

when did u get such email??? i’ve naver received any emails from emory except for the one from oxford which says that the rd deadline has been extended to feb 2…do we actually have to update our mid year report??? it’s strange because it doesn’t say so on the emory university website… Does anyone know for sure if mid year report is required for ed2 decisions???

On OPUS, when you click on high school transcript, it says:
Please have your official high school transcript sent, including 9th thru 12th grades.
12th grade would mean your mid year report card
i think?
well, my counselor sent mine.

im pretty sure mine said “initiated” until they received my mid year report

since you guys are doing edII did any of you apply EDI to anywhere else?

Since EDI is in November, I had no time to write the essays. (because of school work)
I wish I did though. I wouldn’t be stressing out right now…
In 8 days we get to know if we’re accepted, deferred or rejected!!
I don’t know if it is the case for you guys, but Emory will be the first University I get a letter from. So excited and scared…

Whoa so do decisions come out 14th or 15th?

14th online at 8 am letters get sent the 15th

hopefullyemory how do u know that they notify u by the 14th online? where did u find that info on?

the school website somewhere

I also saw that on the website and strangely, it says decisions are released Sunday the 14th, when the 14th is obviously Monday.

it’s here: Decisions for Early Decision 2 applicants will be available online through the OPUS system and will be posted by 8:00 AM EST on Sunday, February 14. Decisions will remain posted until March 1. We will also mail decision letters on February 15.

[Early Decision 2 Information | Emory College of Arts and Sciences Admission](Admission | Emory University | Atlanta GA)

I guess they just didn’t update the site…

I still have two things initiated on OPUS and I sent those two items like two times…
and I called the admission counselor and she told me not to worry and that their
system requires some waiting.
there’s only like 4 days left till they release the decision…so I have to wait more to
check if my documents are processed??

Do u guys think that this kind of implies that they are not going to bother looking
at my high school transcript and counselor recommendation because i have no chance at all???

I’m really worried right now…
