My son just got email today !
Does anyone know if the housing process begins?
@qwertyu123 I am pretty sure the information you are looking for is on the Emory website. You need to contact housing ASAP. First come, first served for transfers.
@ljberkow, thanks. Seems like housing is guaranteed for incoming sophomores.
@qwertyu123 : I suspect that isn’t the case for transfers, so contact to make sure
@qwertyu123 you should do the housing thing first thing today. The Class of 2022 is huge and there aren’t guarantees for transfers. The best way to get in the flow as a transfer is to live on campus. Good luck.
Thanks. I paid the deposit last night and still cannot log into the housing page now. Has anyone successfully done so?
Housing for transfer students is not guaranteed, but we invite enrolling transfer students to apply for housing if they are interested in living on campus. If housing is available for incoming transfer students, the Office of Residence Life and Housing Operations will make assignments on a first-come, first-served basis.
You should call them.

I’m transferring as well, but have any of you guys been able to go on the Facebook? I’ve been on Pending for so long i feel like they forgot
@ssabir213 I sent my request a week ago and haven’t got in the group yet.
Does anyone know if Emory will mail an admission package (or a letter) to admitted students like other schools?
So the Facebook group is finally a thing that people were added to… (& hopefully it won’t stay completely dead??)
Also I got my transfer credit evaluation today and I’m a bit concerned. Is it negotiable?
If you are going to eventually enter the business school, there is a possibility that they may accept some credits that the Emory College had not accepted on transfer. Other than that, they look at classes and will only accept them if they are similar to courses offered at Emory. Good luck.
Does anyone know what the lowest grade you can get without getting rescinded is? I’m afraid I’m gonna get a C in a class this semester
@vvvv110 I’m sure a C is fine! I spoke with an AO at Emory while I was visiting (my close friend is going there in Fall) and they said they won’t rescind unless you get in legal troubles or fail a bunch of classes.
