What do you think? Emory was my first choice because I didn't think I would be in at Brown, but now that I am, I'm not really sure what to do. Any comments would be appreciated. Oh and I'm interested in biology/premed.

I'd guess than 9 out of 10 would choose Brown under those circumstances (unless FA is a major factor).

Hardly matters - you'll do fine at either place. Where will you feel more comfortable, and more challenged?

One factor that distinguishes Brown from Emory (and from most other schools as well) is the open curriculum. That curriculum attracts a distinctive type of student to Brown, the one who is hungry to explore multiple disciplines. It's an incredibly rich learning environment.

Here is an informative thread on the subject, started by a Brown student who was my son’s (incredible) science tour guide when we visited Brown a few months ago.
