I want to do Comp Sci in my graduate study and get admitted by these three universities.
I wonder if Computer Science MS degree at Emory can help me to find a decent job in NYC or Bay Area?
Thx a lot for your information...

Why would you go to Emory for a graduate degree in computer science. Quite frankly the department isn’t that good at the undergrad level, and presumably pretty awful at the graduate school level

Are these your only options?

Yes. I only have these three options right now. Any advice?

So should I go to Syracuse or NYU-Poly instead?

If you want a job by NYC area, NYU Poly is better for you. Lots of NYC internship around there.

I got admission from Rice Yesterday. Perhaps I should go for Rice…

I know nothing about grad school rankings in computer science, but if you want to follow the [NRC’s computer science rankings](NRC Rankings in Computer Science) it seems the logical choice to go to either NYU or Rice.

Rice has a better program, but NYU would provide you with better internship opportunities. So I guess you have to choose which of those factors is most important to you.

@wang were you wlisted to rice?
