~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I narrowed it down to these 3 schools. I am going for pre-dentistry. Although the NYU program seems good, I still have to do very well on the DAT (MCAT for dentists) and I need to maintain a very high GPA. For the NYU program I would also have to major in biology (I'd rather major in Chemistry).
Emory University Cost ~ 22k a year
NYU Cost 40k a year (only 3 years though since it's accelerated)
USC Cost ~ didn't receive aid yet but probably between 15-22k a year
What do you think would be the best choice? Thanks!!!
Emory has the strongest Pre-med/den program out of the 3 and the strongest chem department. In terms of research opportunity, CDC is right next door and Whitehead is on campus. Unless the other 2 are offering significantly more money, I don’t see the reason not going to Emory
These three schools are all great but the environments are going to be totally different.
All are located in big cities, but USC will provide the most traditional college experience.
Emory and NYU have little to no sports and are sort of lacking in the school spirit department.
Just some things to consider besides cost and reputation.
Even though Emory is a great school it doesnt have a dental school and will not stress your major as much as you’d like… USC would probably be the best choice because it has a school of dentistry and over there it would be the priority.
