From Emory Waitlist FAQ:
1) Make sure you update the academic portion of your application. It is crucial, in order to help the Admission Committee further review your application that your most recent senior year grades are made available. Your high school counselor can email an updated transcript to admission@emory.edu. Your guidance counselor may choose to update his/her letter of recommendation at the time of submitting your updated grades.
2)Consider updating the non-academic section of your application. Though not required, an updated list of extracurricular accomplishments since submission of your application can help. Also, you may want to submit an additional letter of recommendation. Just make sure anything you add meaningfully contributes to your application.
3) Write a letter to the admission committee. This is not something all wait-listed applicants need to do or even should do, but some of you may consider writing a personal letter to the admission committee stressing your continued interest in Emory and why you feel you are an appropriate candidate for admission.
