Has anyone gotten in or known someone who has gotten into Emory without submitting any special subject SAT scores? Emory recommends, but does not require SAT IIs.

bump vvvvvvv

“recommended” means that if you don’t do it, you’re at a disadvantage compared to those who did it and did well, so you better have stellar everything else. You make it that much harder for you to get in. Essentially: if they recommend it, do it.

I figured - I just wanted to see if anyone had been accepted without them. Would it be better to submit under 700 scores than no scores at all?

Tigersfan: do you want your application read? If so, send them.
Right now, your choice is between small odds and zero. Either you send them, or you don’t apply at all.
